DENDION LOGISTICS SERVICES LIMITED POLICY STATEMENT ON COMMUNITY AFFAIRS, SAFETY, HEALTH ENVIRONMENT AND SECURITY

DENDION LOGISTICS SERVICES LIMITED is involved in civil and mechanical engineering works as well as corrosion control, marine works.In the executive of such phases of works, our objectives will be to operate in a safe and economic manner. Safety awareness is of utmost importance to all our staff. We are aware of the nature of works involved in the oil industry and the necessary safety efforts/measures required to minimize injury to person and damage to equipment and the environment. It is as a result of this that we had tread our policy in five heading: community Affairs, Safety, Health, Environment and Security.

COMMUNITY AFFAIRS
It is the policy of DENDION LOGISTICS SERVICES LIMITED to execute its projects in such a way that recognizes the yearning and aspiration of client host community and that adequate machinery will be set in motion ensure mutual understanding between the company and host community.

SAFETY
DENDION LOGISTICS SERVICES LIMITED to carry out its business activities in such a manner that preserve the safety and health of employees, subcontractors and all members of the public who may be affected by our operations.
In order to ensure an enviable performance, the following strategies will be adopted.
1. Task-Hazard and effect management
2. Enhanced safety management strategy
3. Total loss control
This policy will be brought to the notice of all employees. It will be reviewed from time to time and revised as necessary. We shall form the view point that all accidents are preventable. Let us all put this point to firm practice.

HEALTH:
Work may affect any or every system of the human body. It is therefore, essential that early recognition of health hazard is established, monitored and controlled. The company retains the services of good clinic to take care of the workers. The company places great emphasis on the promotion of the total heath concept and the protection of workers.

ENVIRONMENT
DENDION environmental policy is a complete fulfillment of the recent clamor for improves living conditions. The company is committed to ensuring clean and healthy environment especially in the curse of work. We must take environmental programme seriously and encourage all our employees to do so.
Physical factors in the environment do influence health as work. These are lightening ventilation, humidity and effects of extremes of temperature. Approximately measures will be taken to guard against them. Every effort will be concentrated towards minimization of dust and other pollution agents released during the curse of work. Structured use and disposal of injurious chemicals should be applied. Due regard must be paid to reduction of noise at source acceptable conditions, both at home and work.

SECURITY
DENDION will ensure all project/facilities where staff work and or reside are secured and that security contingencies plans are in place. Secondly, all personnel/equipment used in our operation will be insured.I, therefore pledge my commitment to the working of this policy. It is my firm belief that every employee must be conversant with its contents and comply with its directive.

The following DENDION for HSE performance have been set.
1. Reduce contract cumulative days lost due to community disturbance (CD) as much as possible, and also reduce community disturbance (CDF) to 1.5
2. To increase safety, health and environmental awareness among our workers in the promotion of any kind of loss.
3. Reduce loss time incident (ETI) to zero.
4. To avoid work related to accidents that could lead to partial or permanent disabilities, and property damage.
5. Carry out our activities in a safe manner to avoid fatalities among our staff, client and third party.
6. Zero road traffic incident frequency (RTIF)
7. Reduce total recordable case frequency (TRCF) to 0.05
8. Zero potentially serious incident frequency (PSIF).
9. Ensure 20% of employees attend first courses annually.
10. Zero medical evacuation frequency (MEF).
11. Sickness Absenteeism.. Factor of average days of 4 per anum per staff exposed  to Occupational Health Hazards.
12. It will be made compulsory for all drivers to attend Defensive Driving curse (DDC 1&2) in the course of their services to the company.
13. 5% of Employees to attend NISP Organized unsafe Act Auditing course annually.
14. 10% of supervisory personnel will attend safety management course per annum.
15. Avoid any operation capable of undermine the environment and effect good effluent management techniques.
16. Increase workers awareness of their responsibility towards security of items in their custody.
17. Reduce incident of theft to zero regular security surveillance.
18. Motivational Safety Incentive Award,  etc.  will be  giving during  the  celebration of  milestone achievement.

ENVIRONMENT
The environment is always facing serious threats from pollutants; the effect of the pollutants has lead to massive destruction of the ecosystems and depletion of the ozone layers.
– The environment is another area of concern hot and humid tropical climate has its toll. For this reason, materials having a dangerous impact on the environment will be properly handled or substituted for a more environmental friendliness.
– We shall incorporate proper waste disposal system, daily house keeping centralized waste oil collection and disposal, and sanitary convenience.
– Environmental incidents shall be reported to the client and prompt solution rendered. At the end of any project, company assets and scraps shall be withdrawn or cleared.
– The company shall liaise with federal environmental protection agency (FEPA) and other such bodies for a better understanding of government environmental protection policy and implementation.
– Any activity that is environmentally unsound will not be started or will be suspected, until acceptable solutions are found.
